LOVE

Love is the single most powerful word in our language. It is also a word greatly abused. If someone were to google the word love, there would be so many different depictions of this word and some of these depictions would be a crime against the true meaning of love.

Too many times lust has been exchanged for love and it could be the farthest thing from love. The Bible talks about there is no greater love than when a man lays down his life for friends. Jesus is the greatest picture of love. It is love that carried him to the cross and this was not a small task.

If anyone has seen the Passion of the Christ, they will soon realize how terrible the beating was that Jesus went through in carrying out his mission. I am always amazed and speechless when I watch this illustration of Christ's love. How can one man have so much love to endure this kind of suffering?

At least once a year I use a clip of the crucifixion and it is one of the best clips I have ever seen. I would like to encourage you to use this sometime this Easter season.
