It's easy to look around neighborhoods today and see pain and poverty in every direction. People are hurting, we recognize that, but seldom do anything about it. That's about to change.
May 1st, 2010, is a day set aside for service. Local youth groups will partner together to change their world, one neighborhood at a time. Each youth group is encouraged to serve in their community and then come together at 6:00 p.m. at Prairie Camp for pizza and celebration!
Come, be a part of something bigger than yourself. Let this not be something that just happens one day, but the beginning of a service revolution in our area.
"If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has not pity on him, how can the love of god be in him?" (1 John 3:17)
